"Lalla" by Sophia Paraskevopoulou in collaboration with Anima ex Manus
Size: 12.2 inches / 31cm tall
Medium: Mixed media. Polymer clay, wire, acrylics, soft pastels, colored pencils, matte and gloss varnish. The wings are entirely handmade; their base is made out of wire and linen fabric, and embellished with pure silk, gauze, 100-year-old vintage tulle with sequins, silk threads, antique lace trims, beads.

Her name comes from one of the oldest lullabies in the world:
"Lalla, lalla, lalla / aut dormi, aut lacte” (=Lullaby, lullaby, lullaby / either go to sleep or suckle)"
