"I have fond memories of butterflies from my childhood. As a 5 year old, my mother used to take me across the road to a huge field of flowers that was whirling with butterflies of all colours.
I could feel them in my hair and arms as I ran laughing through the field.
My mum would sometimes hand me a net to catch some and I would spend hours in that field chasing butterflies.
I am now a collector of beautiful butterfly wings, whenever I spot any in my bushwalks (after they have passed of course), they bring me so much joy knowing such beautiful delicate creatures exist in our realm."
