Talia lays in a bed of thorns, left to converge with twisted roots and biting leaves. Preserved in time.
This piece is inspired by the fairy tale “Sun, Moon and Talia”,
the predecessor to Perrault’s “Sleeping Beauty”, and the Brother’s Grimms’ “Little Briar Rose”.
Please note, the frame is repurposed second-hand so may show slight superficial signs of wear. It is otherwise in great condition.
Signed and dated on the back of the frame.
